DECEPTION POWER OF MIND
MIND,O MIND, IS YOU ME, OR AM I YOU.
Why humans hold such great significance on our planet, all because of ‘MIND’, the neocortex, but sometimes I think, our brain is immensely overrated. Primary objective of our brain is to undertake evolvement for our survival , as categorically, we can say, humans already reached to the zenith of physical progression ,yet ,there is still a massive lacuna for herd expansion in the field of mental perception, in mere words, ‘ZENIT OF MENTAL EVOLVEMENT IS STILL WAY TO GO’.
Now some might think with such permeated advanced technologies, how is it feasible to question our brain evolvement, but trust me. our brain deceived
us till now and will continue doing if we look at it with ‘prima facie approach’.
THE 21ST CENTURY ERA , probably the most advanced era, our planet has ever seen , is brimmed with vulnerable minds, but with ultra-modern technologies..? So, WHAT MAKES A MIND VULNERABLE? Answers to this question varies and solutions have to have sundry approaches , but seeds of
such minds, INDISPUTABLY are — IGNORNACE AND ILLUSION OF KNOWLEDGE.
A midget story would help for vivid cognition, don’t you worry , got all covered.
A student asked his Guru(teacher)- WHAT IS IGNORANCE?
Guru replied — Seeking answers prior efforts .
Which tells us how frequently in our daily lives we tend to be ignorant unknowingly and tells us the compulsive nature of ours.
That student again asked the same question., BUT WHAT IS IGNORANCE?
To which Guru again answered — IGNORANCE is habit.
Which tells us about the rigidity of our minds , how difficult it is for mind to adapt to novice pensive paradigm. Even if we overcame the compulsive level(which we earlier talked about), we’ll get stuck with predominant and predetermined patterns of our brain.
Clearly this student is way to rigid than our minds are, as he again asked the same question., to which Guru very calmly replied- IGNORANCE is
fear.
This answer walloped student’s compulsiveness , with might.
Whatever we, in life fear, is because of ignorance, though this fear pervade in all of us but it can only depart following the footsteps of compulsiveness and rigid nature of our mind. Fear is the most easy thing to come and easiest to go, the only hardest part
in this, is to realize it’s genesis. The stage of ARJUNA’S mind was homogeneous when LORD KRISHNA with his enlightenment, made ARJUNA relinquishes his trepidation, through BHAGWAD GEETA .
When that student finally understood his Guru’s answer, he again pumped question, but this time it was different .,he asked- What is ‘ILLUSION OF
KNOWLEDGE’?
Guru replied — Whenever you feel you have knowledge and still discern these earlier mentioned three stages , do know , you possess illusion of knowledge.
Student ambiguously asked about the difference between the two?,
to which Guru replied — Naught but one, IGNORNACE IS EASY TO KNOW AND ILLUSION IS THE HARDEST TO CHECK. Both have kindred indications, but when I say that, I also stress on the fact that if, after working on ignorance, these ‘kindred indications’ survive, then the hardest task still prevails.
We all think linearly, and if with ignorance, one takes out an intermediary brick, there comes an unaware gap which makes the demarcation line between , what one really knows and what one think one really knows, very vague.
‘’STEPHEN HAWKINS ONCE QUOTED — THE GREATEST ENEMY OF KNOWLEDGE IS NOT IGNORANCE , BUT THE ILLUSION OF KNOWLEDGE.’’
There is one incidence in MAHABHARATA (Hindu Epic which is also longest poem ever written), where ARJUNA after winning the conquest of KING DRAUPAD’S daughter DRAUPADI’S SWAYMVAR (swaymvar is the marriage conquest practiced in ancient Indian time with the objective to let a girl marry with groom of her choice out of the set of suitable candidates)
,reached to the place where they were residing away from their kingdom because of their mother., KUNTI’s fear of family disputes. When
Arjuna arrived with Draupadi , Mother Kunti was praying facing back to them, and when Arjuna categorically addressed — “THAT HE WON
SOMETHING” , Mother Kunti without gaining complete knowledge of his sentence, ordered Arjuna — “WHATEVER YOU WON, SON ARJUNA ,
SHARE EQUALLY AMONG YOUR FOUR BROTHERS”. Hearing this , whole family got devastated including Mother Kunti, once she realized the
win of his son. When Mother Kunti furiously asked Arjuna why didn’t he uttered the whole aspect of his ‘win’, to which the eldest brother ,YUDHISHTHIR replied — ‘’THE ONE WHO GOT POWER TO COMMAND, HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE IGNORANT.’’
Right to command is something which we all aspire , we should be our own bosses, but ain’t you already are. You only knit your life , it’s just that quality depends on how you do it .., consciously, or , subliminally . Often we do not keep check and get highly accustomed to the ongoing flow of being subliminal , which deceives us to believe , our mind to be greater than our
command and with varying changes in life , we must make sure to not be ignorant while making these small and big commands.
And Illusion of knowledge, made Duryodhana chose Narayani Sena(Lord Krishna’s army) over Lord Krishna, prior the battle of epic MAHABHARATA.
What should be held responsible for this-THOUGHT or THOUGHT PROCESS…? We see different people in our vicinity of different background hunting answer of this question , but extraneously. What more important is to understand the technicalities of our own brain. Our ‘thoughts’ depend on our biases and preferences we inherit or we captivate through time and hence we
perceive things accordingly. Most important is to understand how much proportion of neutrality is directly proportional to right perspective. Right
perspective, from subjective comprehension, according to Hindu ancient texts is defined as “DEED DONES WITHIN DHARMA, FOR DHARMA”, and DHARMA can not be defined in mere words, in lieu it would not be comprehensive, if understood through extrinsic mindsets .It is the most used word in our ancient texts yet at the same time very less incorporated into our lives. It is because, Dharma is not a mere word it is a way to live life, where you serve people, society, animals, nature and mother earth to the utmost,
without any sense of incompleteness and deceit within. Dharma is not about ‘BE’ but ‘BEING’.A culture where so much personality richness was in practice , how we end up in such misery, dissatisfaction and restlessness. Today if we look closely into our society ,we have become sheep with our brains being shepherd, the real wrong do not lie in feeling these emotions, but rearing them. This is what have become our ‘’PROCESS OF THOUGHT’’, burgeoning deception game of our mind.
‘’WE ARE WHAT OUR THOUGHTS HAVE MADE US ; SO TAKE CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK. WORDS ARE SECONDARY , THOUGHTS LIVE;
THEY TRAVEL FAR’’
